ROOT tutorials giving an overview of all the basic functionality of ROOT,  providing a solid base to efficiently analyze data with ROOT. After an introduction to C++, all the main features of ROOT have been presented, from histogramming, tree and I/O to advanced fitting techniques. The tutorials lasted a full week and lectures slices are complemented with hands-on exercises.
